

In 2017, to mark the 75th anniversary of Little Golden Books, Diane published titles that celebrated the legendary Golden Book creators, such as Margaret Wise Brown’s never-before-published Manners, and went on a national speaking tour about the rich history and enduring legacy of Golden Books. In September 2013, The Huffington Post invited Diane to contribute an article on her memories of growing up with Golden Books. In October 2007, Diane was a keynote speaker at a 65th anniversary celebration of Little Golden Books in Amsterdam.

She and Marcus then co-curated a touring exhibition of original Golden Books illustrations. She edited G olden Legacy: How Golden Books Won Children’s Hearts, Changed Publishing Forever, and Became an American Icon Along the Way (Random House, 2007), by Leonard S. Seuss.ĭiane worked for over thirty years as an editor in the children’s book industry, notably as the longtime Editorial Director of the famous Little Golden Books.
